Public Notices

Pursuant to NCGS 53C-1-4(59), public notice of applicable information regarding applications is required via a single publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the county in which the bank that is the subject of the notice has its principal office (or where the Commissioner determines is necessary), and via a posting on the Commissioner's website for at least 15 days.  The public is invited to submit written comments to the Commissioner of Banks, 4309 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, North Carolina 27699-4309.

An application has been filed by Providence Bank, 450 N. Winstead Avenue, Rocky Mount, Nash County, North Carolina, with the North Carolina Commissioner of Banks ("NCCOB") for authority to establish a branch at 3701 Barrett Drive, Raleigh, Wake County, North Carolina, to be known as the Raleigh Branch, to be processed in accordance with N.C. G.S. 53C-6-15.
