Mortgage Renewal Information

The NC S.A.F.E. Act (Effective July 31, 2009 and updated effective October 1, 2025), requires annual renewal of all licenses and registrations issued to mortgage lenders, mortgage brokers, their branch locations, mortgage servicers, exclusive mortgage brokers, mortgage origination support registrants, and mortgage loan originators.

All mortgage renewal applications must be submitted via the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System.
